Top 10 Packaging Ideas

Packaging is an important part of society for protecting fragile items, food, liquids and much more.  It has come a long way over the years and every now and then somebody comes up with a new, funny and unique packaging type for displaying a product.  Below are my top 10.

Anti-Theft Lunch Bags:

Do you worry that your sandwiches are so good somebody will eat them for you? Well now you’ve no need to. These brilliant anti-theft lunch bags feature stains on them that look distinctly like mould. Not with me yet? Put your sandwich in the bag and you will be. Yes that’s right the mould looks like it’s on the bread, and nobody will want to eat your bait.

Tea Hangers:

Everybody loves a brew after a hard day’s work, or at any time really. A brew makes everything better, have you ever heard somebody say “I’ll put the kettle on” when you’re feeling sad or unwell? It’s because tea works wonders. This clever design is made up of t-shirt shaped teabags on a hanger. The hanger is used to hang on the side of your cup for maximum brewing and easy removal.

Resalable Pop Can:

I love this idea. Have you ever really craved some fizzy pop, opened a can, had a few mouthfuls and then thought, no more? Well I certainly have and have then had to carry the can around upright for hours before wanting more pop or losing patience and just throwing it away. With the resalable pop can this is no longer an issue. A clever invention that enables the can to be sealed after opening so it can be put in a bag for safe keeping.

 Coffee Straw:

If you’re a fan of iced coffee these inventive little straws maybe for you. Filled with Nescafe coffee it can be opened at one end so its contents can be poured over a cup of ice and water. Once in the cup you can open up the other end of the straw, stir in the coffee and sip it through the very same straw. A quick and easy way of enjoying an iced coffee.

Chocolate Pills:

Are you a chocoholic? Do you need you chocolate fix on a daily basis? If the answer is yes, you need chocolate pills. There are 30 of these dark chocolate delights in a pack so that you can pop one a day when you feel the need.

 Antismoke Pack:

Quitting smoking can be a long and troublesome process that takes real will power. Well if you’re looking for a help in hand why not purchase yourself one of these antismoke packs. Just looking at it may help but I’m certain if I owned one I’d want to quit smoking too. The antismoke pack is a coffin shaped cigarette box in either black or white showing a smoker what the effects of smoking can really do.

Fit Buns:

If you’re a fan of buns for your sandwiches this packaging will have you giggling. Featuring what appears to be a male lifting up his shirt to reveal his six pack. Try not to get too excited though because that six pack is just six tasty bread buns for your lunch box. A fun way to advertise.

Fresh Label:

The fresh labels is great for those who worry about food being off. Are you one of those who is never certain on when to throw away food and won’t trust anything that’s a few days old? Well now you don’t have to worry. The fresh food label works as an indicator that changes colour once something becomes spoiled. It does this by reacting with the ammonia given off by the food meaning you will always know whether or not something is fresh.

Meat Shorts:

These shorts may not be to everyone’s taste but I think their pretty cool.  The shorts feature an all over raw meat design giving the effect of a steak.  To add to the effect the shorts are packaged in a meat tray and covered with cling film making them look like meat served on a supermarket shelf.  Like I said, they may not be to everyone’s taste.

 Yogurt with Spoon:
Lots of foods are now made to be accessible when on the move. This means coming equipped with a spoon or a fork in order to eat on the go. This yogurt pot does just that only with a slightly more original idea. The lid of the yogurt once peeled back can be folded into a spoon shape eliminating the need to provide a separate one. Not only is this idea clever but its eco-friendly too making it one of my favourites.
