Consider the fact that luncheon plates are even less expensive than hosting a dinner, but make sure that there is plenty for everyone and that nobody will starve. Furthermore, appetizers and smaller snacks are also a good choice if you do not have a big budget.

Serving drinks is perhaps one of the most expensive of catering, and it is important that you do not think along the line of cocktails, instead opt for simple beer and wine being served so that you can save some money on liquor and cut out an expensive bartender serving expensive cocktails. Instead of hiring a professional DJ, why not ask one of your employees to be the DJ at the party and let them have fun; make sure that they will respect everyone’s wishes and that they will not go overboard.

Renting a decent sound system is also not at all expensive and it can really lighten up the mood as people can have fun while enjoying themselves.
